It's The Disney Remake
Already announced in the D23 Expo and the Disney Park Blog (via Slashfilm), it is indeed big news that the Disney California Theme Park is going to get a little make-over in the advancing year of 2018. The Park's Paradise Pier Area is all set to become the Pixar Pier. The former Paradise pier housed popular rides, including the roller coaster "California Screaming". Now the area shall be re-themed into three neighborhoods according to three of the best beloved Pixar Studios movies - The Toy Story, The Incredibles and Inside Out. There will also be a fourth section based on glimpses of other favorite Pixar movies. Different games and other upgrades shall also be added. However, the Little Mermaid themed Ariel’s Grotto restaurant and the Cove Bar will be removed, only for a Pixar themed restaurant to take their place. The Park shall be open with all these cool, new stuff in the summer of 2018, scheduled around the time when The Incredibles II is to hit the theaters.
